Let’s Play Super Smash TV! Todd joined me for another classic multiplayer for the SNES in Super Smash TV. This is a tough, tough game which we clearly demonstrated by failing to get far beyond level 1 and Mutoid Man.

This is just a great top down action shooter/avoid the enemies game as hordes and hordes of disgruntled mutant prisoner robots (clearly I never caught what they were meant to be) come at you and your teammate in a futuristic and hedonistic ultra-violent television gameshow.
You chuckle at the premise of a to-the-death shoot-em-up gameshow for glittering prizes (Warcraft anyone?) but we’re probably not that far off from it. I’m sure some country in the world is doing it quietly.
There are also tons of prizes to collect like futuristic toasters and bars of gold. Gory violence and commercialism worship – yes please!
Unfortunately we didn’t get too far, but still, as the smarmy and cheesy host said “IIIIIII LOVE IT!”.
