Let’s Play Marble Madness! Marble Madness, I always liked this game but it’s crazy to think how much time and money I spent on it both playing, renting, and eventually buying, considering you can play the entirety of it in roughly seven minutes.
Let’s Play Marble Madness:
Fist thing’s first, 90 degrees or 45 degrees. The eternal question. I could never remember which was which, because I couldn’t visualize 90 degrees as being a right angle and being the more obvious play for me.
But yes, Marble Madness was a clever idea for a game: you control a marble through six or seven obstacle courses while being timed. The faster you complete each level/board; yes I’ll call them boards for all you “board” people, the more time you’d get to keep during the next level. So realistically and ideally you could have a nice bonus of 30 seconds or more for the final board to make it through those damn shifting platforms.
I need to dig up the promo commercial for this game. We’re seriously going way back for this one, but I love this game. I just realized that a lot of the games which I proclaim my love for on the NES are the ones which I can beat relatively easily but which other people readily admit their struggles with, hehe.
