Let’s Play M.C. Kids! Desperate to find a game I could tie into the Thanksgiving theme, I counted my blessing when I stumbled upon the surprisingly okay platformer, M.C. Kids. How big was McDonalds in the early 90’s? They commissioned a fricking NES game based on their various characters like Ronald, Grimace, Birdy, and the whole gang.

There weren’t that many tie ins or advertisements for McDonalds as a franchise itself, not as many as I’d expect at least. Ultimately the game is just a pretty decent platformer, a lot better than it had cause to be given its background. I don’t think anyone remembers this game or expects me to say anything more on it, so I won’t pretend like I remember anything more on it. It was a corny, kind of fun time.
