Let’s Play Xexyz! This is a fun platform/space shooter game that I had never heard of before. Just when someone tortures me with Dr. Jekyll, someone else turns up to save the day by requesting a fun game like Xexyz.
Let’s Play Xexyz:
I have to admit, not having grown up with a lot of the decent games which people requested in these TRJ events, I remember enough to say that I enjoyed the game but I rarely remember enough to distinguish a few of them from one another.
I remember there being some innovative and varied game play which I like, and I remember there being a spot where I could totally exploit the leveling system and respawn system by killing the same sizable dude over and over again with autofire, which I love.
If you’ve watched me play a few of these games then by now you know I have a number of constants. Constants I hate, and constants I love. A constant I hate: pits being used as a cheap method for increasing the difficulty of a game when the designers just couldn’t think of anything else practical to accomplish that. A constant I love: finding loopholes and ways to exploit games without using actual cheats, particularly on my first run through a game, like here.
Anyway, Xexyz was a good time, and I feel like Beth requested it but I could be wrong. Man, some of you all have been around for awhile if I’m remembering requested games two years later. Mad love.
Yes, I thought that sounded really awkward coming from me, too.
