Let’s Play Blaster Master!
Blaster Master is one of the best games for the NES for the usual reasons.

So let’s do the role call. Innovative and unique premise for a game? Check. Awesome gameplay? Check. Colorful, fun and beautiful NES era graphics? Check. Great music? Check. The ability to drive, fly, and shoot a cool looking tank/car? Yeah.
Sunsoft was on their game with this game, as they were with most of the games they worked on in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
The one issue I have with this game is it’s decently challenging, especially if you don’t know where to go. The game is comparitively huge against other games of the day, and the different “areas” were scattered all over the map and there was nothing linear about them.
You couldn’t access certain areas until you had certain abilities from clearing previous areas, but in some cases you just needed to know where to go or where to spend your boost, otherwise you had a lot of item and fuel collecting to do just to get yourself in shape to try it all over again somewhere else.
Still, a great game without any peers from the golden era of the original Nintendo Entertainment System.
